Chinese industrial robot manufacturers can be strong options for budget-sensitive applications, domestic China production, and standard payload tasks. The decision should be based on the full cell requirement: process, controls, integrator skill, service model, spare parts, and operator support.
What to evaluate
Robot performance
Payload, reach, repeatability, speed, duty cycle, protection rating, and application-specific limits.
Controller and software
Programming environment, offline programming, API/SDK, safety features, backups, and diagnostics.
Integrator ecosystem
Whether local integrators can program, commission, service, and troubleshoot the platform.
Export support
Documentation, manuals, spare parts, warranty, remote support, and overseas service options.
Buyer-side check
For most buyers, the safer path is comparing robot manufacturers through a real application: welding, palletizing, machine tending, dispensing, inspection, or handling. A robot brand that looks good in isolation still needs an integrator who can deliver the cell.
