A robot that is suitable for palletizing may be a poor choice for arc welding, dispensing, polishing, or machine tending if the controller, process package, or integrator ecosystem is weak.
When comparing Chinese robot manufacturers with international brands, the question is not only price. Check whether the chosen robot has enough installed examples in the target application, whether the controller is supportable by the integrator, and whether spare parts and troubleshooting will be available after installation.
