Searches for China robotics companies often mix very different businesses: robot arm brands, cobot companies, humanoid platforms, mobile robot suppliers, dexterous hand makers, actuator companies, gripper suppliers, machine vision teams, and industrial integrators. These are not interchangeable.

A buyer looking for machine tending needs different proof than a buyer benchmarking dexterous hands. A company with a good humanoid demo may not be the best actuator supplier. A robot manufacturer may still need a capable integrator to deliver a working cell.

Robotics supplier visits should be sequenced by technical purpose.

A useful China robotics trip is not just a list of famous companies. It should distinguish between benchmarking, sourcing, partnership exploration, supplier validation, and factory acceptance review. Each purpose produces a different visit list.

For robotics components, the visit should test hardware maturity, integration path, documentation, availability, lead time, support, and roadmap credibility. For robot cells, the visit should focus on comparable applications, tooling quality, safety, commissioning, cycle time proof, and FAT method.
